The EMC Partner ESD3000 is a handheld, battery-operated, and easy-to-use ESD Simulator. The unit’s lightweight and ergonomic design makes the generator easy to hold and operate. The ESD3000 is modular in design with a wide range of RC Modules meeting the latest requirements for commercial, automotive, military, avionics, and component testing. Each RC Module is carefully designed to meet the component values and the waveshape definition per the standard.
 
The ESD3000 is not tethered to a base unit so it does not have a limited range of motion. The batteries are AA rechargeable and will power the gun for 8 hours while continuously testing at 30kV. The ESD3000 can also be run off mains power while recharging the batteries.
